The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly in Ibadan North-East Constituency 2, Hon. Princess Oluwaseun Dosunmu, has taken her campaign directly to residents across parts of the constituency as she intensifies her grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dosunmu, accompanied by members of her campaign team, embarked on a house-to-house and street-to-street campaign across some communities within Ibadan North-East, including the Agodi Gate axis and Bashorun, where she interacted directly with residents and presented her vision and plans for the constituency.

The engagement, according to the campaign, was aimed at bringing democratic participation closer to the people while giving residents an opportunity to interact directly with the candidate, hear her plans and express their concerns.
During the exercise, Dosunmu and her team moved from one residence and community point to another, distributing campaign materials and speaking with residents about the need for accountable, transparent and people-oriented representation.
Her direct approach to grassroots engagement attracted positive reactions from residents, with members of the community welcoming the candidate and her team during the house-to-house visits.
Some residents reportedly offered prayers and words of encouragement to Dosunmu, while urging her to remain committed to whatever promises she makes to the people if elected.
The candidate also used the opportunity to communicate some of her priorities for the constituency, particularly her commitment to putting the people first, promoting inclusive development, strengthening communities, and ensuring accountability and transparency in representation.

A notable moment during the campaign occurred when Pastor Alex Uwachuku met the candidate during the exercise and offered prayers for her as she continues her political journey.
Pastor Uwachuku also pledged to continue praying for Dosunmu as she pursues her ambition to represent Ibadan North-East Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The grassroots engagement is part of the candidate's broader effort to connect with residents at the community level and present her political vision ahead of the 2027 election.
Dosunmu's campaign has continued to emphasise the message of “Let’s Change the Narratives of Ibadan North-East constituency 2,” with her campaign materials highlighting People's First, Inclusive Development, Accountability and Transparency, and Stronger Communities as some of her key commitments.
