The engagement provided an opportunity for Hon. Dosunmu to interact directly with members of the association, listen to their concerns and share some of her plans for the constituency if elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Addressing the association, Hon. Dosunmu highlighted key areas she intends to prioritise, including skills empowerment, job creation, environmental sanitation, accessible healthcare, protection of women and girls from victimisation, and improved security within the community.
She emphasised that meaningful representation must go beyond political promises, stressing the importance of creating opportunities that can improve the livelihood and economic wellbeing of residents.
Hon. Dosunmu also assured the association of her commitment to standing with them if given the mandate to represent Ibadan North-East Constituency 2, pledging that her support for the association and other grassroots groups would not end with the election.
Responding on behalf of the association, the Chairman expressed appreciation for the candidate's engagement with the association and assured her of their continued support and cooperation.
Members of the association also shared words of encouragement, expressing their appreciation for the visit and their confidence in Hon. Dosunmu's ambition to represent the constituency.
