The Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of Nollywood actress, Temitope Osoba, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
The actress reportedly passed away on Tuesday evening, nearly two years after undergoing surgery for breast cancer.
Her death was announced on Wednesday by her close associate and fellow actor, Alesh Ola Sanni, who shared an emotional tribute on his Instagram page, describing Osoba as a dear sister with whom he shared many memorable moments.
Temitope Osoba had publicly appealed for financial support in November 2024 to undergo a second surgery as part of her cancer treatment.
Her passing has since sparked an outpouring of grief from colleagues, fans and well-wishers, who have continued to pay tribute to her contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
