The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the dates for shortlisted candidates to check their status for the oral interview stage of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Secretary to the Board, Maj.-Gen. A. M. Jibril (rtd.).
According to the Board, candidates who applied under the graduate category are expected to check their shortlisting status from Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Meanwhile, candidates who applied with NCE, OND and SSCE qualifications are to check their status from Monday, September 7, to Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The Board said the shortlisted candidates are those who participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening exercise for recruitment into the Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
Jibril stated that the assessment and shortlisting process had been concluded and urged candidates to visit the official recruitment portal during the designated dates.
“Consequently, all successful candidates who applied under the graduate category are required to visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal from Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, 2026.”
He added that candidates with NCE, OND and SSCE qualifications should visit the same portal from September 7 to September 9 to determine whether they have been shortlisted for the oral interview.
CDCFIB Warns Candidates Against Fraudsters
The Board also warned candidates against individuals or groups requesting payment in connection with the recruitment exercise.
It advised candidates to disregard any demand for payment and report such requests to the appropriate authorities.
CDCFIB further clarified that official communications concerning the recruitment exercise would be made through its official recruitment portal and not via email.
