Nigerian Military Honours Fallen Hero, Lt. F.A. Isaac, Who Died Rescuing Abducted Oyo Schoolchildren

The Nigerian military has paid tribute to one of its gallant officers, Lieutenant F.A. Isaac, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the operation to rescue the abducted pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Lt. Isaac reportedly lost his life while courageously confronting the kidnappers during the rescue mission aimed at securing the safe release of the victims. He was laid to rest on the same day the kidnapped schoolchildren and teachers regained their freedom.

His burial coincided with the successful conclusion of the rescue operation, a development many have described as a solemn reminder of the immense sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces in the line of duty.

The Nigerian military and Nigerians across the country have continued to honour the late officer's bravery, dedication, and selfless service to the nation, noting that his sacrifice played a significant role in the successful rescue mission.
